It all began in August 2020 with a simple idea: our founder, Alberto, hosted a casual gathering with a few friends in a coffee shop. After a long period of self-isolation due to the pandemic, people longed for social interactions, and the attendees positively welcomed this get-together. From then on, every month, Alberto organised gatherings whereby more and more people joined in.

Our development from a small gathering in a coffee shop to the thriving community that is The Aperitif has been a remarkable journey. What started with a handful of people quickly transformed into a network as attendees began bringing friends, colleagues, and acquaintances. To keep things fresh and exciting, we decided to switch up our venues every month, offering our attendees diverse settings and atmospheres.

As our numbers grew, we recognised the importance of expanding our horizons. We aimed to attract professionals from various industries, limiting attendees within the same field to foster diverse interactions and enrich networking opportunities. Last year, we decided to launch a new concept to elevate the value of our gatherings further, whereby we introduced occasional guest speakers who share their insights and knowledge.

January Event

On one of the first evenings of the year, we gathered at the elegant Embassy Hotel for our January Aperitif – the first of many to come in 2025. Embracing a fresh start, we welcomed a larger group than usual, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with new connections and engaging discussions. The positive feedback we received reassured us that this was a great way to kick off the year and we’re already looking forward to seeing you again soon. To those who joined, thank you for making it a fantastic evening and to those who missed it – we hope to welcome you next time.

Our December Aperitif was a truly memorable evening, combining engaging conversations, valuable networking, and a captivating speech from Johan about planning and executing a trip to Africa to observe the lives of lions. His insights left everyone inspired and eager for new adventures.

As a special touch, each attendee left with a unique gift to remember the evening, adding an extra layer of warmth to the festive season. 2.⁠ ⁠⁠Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the Aperitif are non-refundable, but the payment can be used for a future Aperitif within 6 months.
3.⁠ ⁠⁠Cancellations made within 24 hours of the Aperitif are not eligible for a refund or credit.
4.⁠ ⁠⁠If no cancellation notice is provided, the entry fee will not be refunded.
